Blogspotlight is back with Marvelously Mismatched
Question 1: Could you tell the readers a bit about your blog? What can we find on your blog?
“Gladly. My blog is one of a kind well I like to think it is anyway, and it’s all about what I like the most. Anime and manga. Plus other random moments of my life. I like to think that my blog is the place you can go to when you’re looking for a manga series recommendation, an anime to watch, reviews, thoughts and feedback on an anime or manga, or just random thoughts of the day, or something to laugh about. ”
Question 2: What made you decide to start your own blog?
“A friend of mine and an old teacher I had were my inspiration for my blog. They always told me I had a passion for writing, and that I should combine it with something else I love. So I started a blog about the things I love. Anime, manga and other random moments I seem to have. It seemed like a good idea and once I stared blogging. I found out that I liked it a lot so I kept it up and here we are. ”
Question 3: How did you get in touch with anime and other Japanese media?
“I actually started watching anime when I was really young. I just didn’t know it at the time because I was too young to actually know what it was. I watched Dragon Ball Z with my brothers. As I got older I wanted to know if there was anything else like Dragon Ball. So being the good kid that I was I googled it and found the amazing world of anime. Once I discovered that there was no end to the amount of time I spent watching anime. ”
Question 4: What is the element that you like most in anime?
“The element I like the most hmm well are we talking power wise or the thing I like the most in anime? The first one? Yeah awesome. Okay so my favorite power or element in anime I guess would have to be.. Okay wait I have like two maybe three. But they would have to be the sharingan, the chidori and the Rasengan from Naruto. Those were absolutely out of this world epic. ”
Question 5: Do you have a specific genre you love to watch?
“No not really as long as I think something is going to be really good I will watch it. But most days I usually watch shonen, Shojo, and a little bit of Josei. That is when I have the time of course. ”
Question 6: What is your favorite series? Can you tell us what made it so special?
“There is never just one favorite I have many because I can never choose. But two anime okay wait no five anime that I absolutely love are… Naruto, Attack on Titan, Dragon Ball Z, The complete series of K, and Bleach. They are some of my all-time favorite animes. I love absolutely love these anime. Attack on Titan was one of the most action packed, drama filled, plot twisting, really sad anime that I have ever watched. To me what made it really special was the story. The story in this anime was just unbelievable. The creators did an amazing job of creating something that will stick with you forever. I loved that the story was unique and original. It was different and I loved that.
Naruto was epic! The fight scenes were on point. What made the series stand out to me was all the challenges they had to face. Just to get stronger, just to be good enough. That really stuck with me and come on you just gotta love Naruto. I loved Dragon Ball Z mainly because it was the first anime I ever watched. I used to watch it all the time with my brothers. What made Dragon Ball so special to me at a young age were all their powers. When they go super Saiyan it’s epic. Now I’m gonna stop now because I could go forever. ”
Question 7: What do you dislike in anime?
“Hmm not much actually but there is one thing. I hate it when the story and the plot are amazing and the characters turn out to be crap. That really makes me mad. Why ruing a good story with bad characters. That is something I never understood. ”
Question 8: In your bio you say Xbox is life. Can you tell us more about your passion for Xbox?
“Okay let me see if I can explain this in a way that makes sense. To me Xbox is more than a console it’s what brought my brothers, my friends and family together. When we first got our Xbox my brothers and I from that day forward became inseparable. When I was little my brothers and I used to get along. But not as well as we probably should have. Which drove my mom nuts. So she thought about what would be the best way to bring us together. So she bought us an Xbox. The day we got our Xbox was the greatest day of our lives. My brothers at first hogged it like the boys they are but after I got my hands on it. Justice was served. I kicked their butts knocked them down a peg or three. Since that day for some odd reason we have been inseparably. We are not only siblings we are best friends. They are the best brothers I could ever ask for. That’s why I love Xbox so much. ”
Question 9: What is your favorite dish?. Can you give a random fact about yourself?
“My favorite dish? Hmm that is a tough question. But if I had to pick one dish right now it would have to be… Chicken pot pie. Now a random fact about me… I have never eaten squid. People always say it’s good but I just can’t quit get passed the fact that it had eight arms or legs. Or whatever you want to call them.”
